Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 2025
At OM, we believe privacy is a fundamental right, not a luxury. As we build PipelineOM, we're committed to earning and maintaining your trust through radical transparency about how we handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices in plain language—no legal jargon, no hidden clauses, just straightforward answers about what data we collect, why we need it, and how we protect it.
We understand that sharing your information requires trust, especially with an early-stage company. That's why we've designed our data practices from the ground up to be minimal, purposeful, and secure. We collect only what we need to provide you with value, we never sell your data to third parties, and we give you full control over your information at all times.
Whether you're joining our waitlist, scheduling a founder briefing, or simply exploring our website, you deserve to know exactly what happens with your data. This policy covers all interactions with OM and PipelineOM, and we've structured it to be as clear and accessible as possible. If anything is unclear or you have questions, we're always here to help—just reach out to us at hello@pipelineom.com.
Information We Collect
We believe in data minimalism: collecting only what serves a clear purpose and adds genuine value to your experience. Unlike many companies that vacuum up every possible data point, we've intentionally limited our data collection to what's essential for providing you with early access to PipelineOM and keeping you informed about our progress.
Waitlist & Contact Forms
When you join our waitlist or reach out through our contact form, we collect: your name, work email address, company name, role or job title, and any optional message or information you choose to provide. This information helps us understand your needs, prioritize our product roadmap, and ensure PipelineOM solves real problems for founders like you.
Website Analytics
We use privacy-focused analytics tools like Plausible, Fathom, or Google Analytics (with IP anonymization enabled) to understand how visitors use our website. This data is completely anonymous—we can see that someone visited a page, but we can't identify who that person is. We don't use tracking cookies by default, and we never build profiles of individual users.
Scheduling Information
If you book a founder briefing through Calendly, that platform collects your name, email address, selected time slot, and any optional notes you provide. Calendly operates under its own privacy policy, which we've vetted to ensure it meets our standards. We use this information solely to prepare for and conduct your briefing.
Importantly, we do not collect any payment information at this stage—PipelineOM is not yet a paid product, and we have no billing systems in place. We don't track your location beyond country-level analytics, we don't access your device's camera or microphone, and we don't collect any sensitive personal information unless you voluntarily choose to share it with us in a message.
Our philosophy is simple: if we don't need it to serve you better, we don't collect it. As PipelineOM evolves and we introduce new features, we'll update this policy and notify you before collecting any new types of information.
How We Use Your Information
Every piece of information you share with us has a specific, intentional purpose. We're not interested in hoarding data or using it for purposes you didn't sign up for. Here's exactly how we use the information we collect, with complete transparency about our practices and intentions.
01
Review Early-Access Applications
We carefully review each waitlist application to understand your use case, challenges, and how PipelineOM might help you. This helps us prioritize who gets early access and ensures we're serving founders who will benefit most from our product during its initial phases.
02
Schedule & Conduct Founder Briefings
When you request a briefing, we use your contact information to coordinate scheduling, send calendar invitations, and prepare personalized materials. During briefings, we take notes to remember your specific needs and follow up appropriately.
03
Send Product Updates
If you're on our waitlist, we'll send occasional, high-signal updates about PipelineOM's development, new features, and early access opportunities. We respect your inbox—expect thoughtful updates, not spam. You can unsubscribe anytime with a single click.
04
Improve Our Website & Product
We analyze aggregate, anonymous website usage data to understand what content resonates, where users get stuck, and how we can improve the experience. Your feedback and usage patterns directly shape PipelineOM's roadmap and feature priorities.
We will never use your information for purposes beyond what's described here without your explicit consent. We don't sell data to advertisers, we don't build shadow profiles, and we don't use your information to train AI models for third parties. Your data exists to serve you, not to monetize you.
Sharing, Security & Your Rights
Data Sharing & Disclosure
Let's be crystal clear: we do not sell your data. Period. Your information is not a commodity, and we will never treat it as one. We only share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate OM and deliver PipelineOM, and only under strict confidentiality agreements.
These service providers include Google Workspace (for email and document storage), Calendly (for scheduling), Gamma.app (for our website), and privacy-focused analytics tools. Each partner is carefully vetted and contractually obligated to protect your data with the same standards we maintain.
The only other scenario where we would disclose your information is if required by law—for example, in response to a valid subpoena or court order. If legally permitted, we will notify you before disclosing your information to authorities.
Your Privacy Rights
You have complete control over your information. At any time, you can request to access all data we have about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, or ask us to delete your data entirely. Simply email hello@pipelineom.com with your request, and we'll respond within 7 business days.
You can also unsubscribe from our emails anytime using the link in any message we send. If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including the right to data portability and the right to object to certain processing.
Data Security & Storage
Security isn't an afterthought—it's foundational to how we've built OM. All data you submit through our forms is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored securely in Google Workspace, which provides enterprise-grade security, encryption at rest, and regular security audits.
Access to your information is strictly limited to the two founders of OM. We don't have a large team with broad access, we don't store data on personal devices, and we use two-factor authentication on all accounts. We regularly review access logs and security practices to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We also maintain backups to prevent data loss, which are encrypted and stored in secure, geographically distributed locations.
Policy Updates & Transparency
1
Current Version
This privacy policy is effective December 2025 and reflects our current practices as we build PipelineOM and grow our waitlist.
2
Material Changes
If we make significant changes to how we collect, use, or share your data, we'll notify all waitlist members by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
3
Minor Updates
For clarifications or minor updates that don't affect your rights, we'll update this page and note the revision date at the top.
4
Your Choice
If you disagree with policy changes, you can request data deletion before changes take effect. We'll always respect your decision.
As OM evolves from a waitlist into a full product, our data practices will naturally expand—but our core commitment to privacy, transparency, and user control will never change. When we introduce new features that require collecting new types of information, we'll update this policy and clearly communicate what's changing and why.
We believe privacy policies should be living documents that reflect actual practices, not legal shields filled with vague language. That's why we commit to keeping this policy up to date, writing in plain language, and being transparent about changes. We'll never hide significant changes in fine print or hope you don't notice updates.
You can always view the current version of this policy at om.how/privacy, and we maintain an archive of previous versions for your reference. If you have questions about any updates or changes, we're always available to discuss them—transparency means being accessible, not just posting updates.
